With the start of not only a new year, but also a new decade, 2020 presents a great opportunity to get serious about New Year’s resolutions. Instead of going it solo, Tinker Air Force Base’s Helping Agencies are here to provide Tinkerites with the resources and support to make those resolutions a reality.
Health and Wellness Center
Looking to make healthier diet adjustments or get more active this year? The Health and Wellness Center is the perfect resource to help Airmen achieve their goals. The HAWC offers multiple programs for fitness that are available to military members, including performance running, strength conditioning and the Fitness Improvement Training Program. For anyone with access to the base, they also provide nutrition classes, a diabetes support group, a healthy weight management program and more. The HAWC personnel also offer support for tobacco cessation and how to build healthy sleep habits.
